I don't doubt this. At the presser Lane sure seemed interested in who Jon's sources were. I wonder if Jon will tell him privately?

Either way, I wonder if Jon's report ended up killing the deal between AU and Kiffin. If Kiffin thinks someone at AU leaked this, he would probably be pretty pissed.

I don’t know. I’ve said I figured the source was either Cohen, or someone very close to him, and that Kiffin got pissed because he lost control of the situation.

I think Kiffin’s big problem is he is emotionally a teenager and I could absolutely see him staying in Oxford just to spite Sokoloff. But him and Sexton have screwed the extension gambit with Ole Miss. If there was any justice he’d take a pay cut. I looked at his contract last night and it’s got a jillion potential bonuses but I see few if any he’ll get for his team’s performance.

I think someone with Ole Miss AD or booster knew pretty sure it was going down and used Sokolff as their bitch to blow it up and it worked.

Also, I can believe his kids could have played a factor like it was talked about.

Cohen didn't leak shite.
