All Stet needs is 294 passing yards in the next three games and he will pass Murray's record...

If my math is correct (a big if):

Murray started 52 games in his career here.

Stet, assuming he starts in the next four games, will have only started 34 games for UGA.

Yet will still have more passing yards, presumably.

According to this article, it said three games:

quote:

A strong performance this weekend against Georgia Tech could vault him past David Greene’s 2003 season (3,307) for fifth. Bennett still has the SEC Championship and at least one bowl game before the year is over. He’d need to average 294 yards per game in those 3 matchups to eclipse Aaron Murray’s No. 1 mark from his 2012 season (3,893).

So that article is using a worst case scenario in which we have at least 3 more games to play. I'm more hopeful than that.

Or more that he can break that record in 3 games.

I broke this story last week. This weekend’s performance was not optimal

New day. New fact.

Stetson Bennett currently ranks 16th in conference for 4th quarter pass attempts.
Carson Beck ranks 17th
