I give you the only reason that matters and that is money. A B1G vs SEC game would be big ratings and more money. The SEC's fear of the north is causing them to leave money on the table. The home team's media partner owns the broadcasting rights and would greatly increase the values of the next TV contracts.

Again, there is no advantage for an SEC school to play up north. The reason you schedule other power schools is to advertise your program in a particular region. This is why the chic-filet kickoff game is a popular destination for a non-con. It’s why Georgia has scheduled a home and home with UCLA this decade, as well as Texas and Oklahoma before they joined the SEC. We don’t need money from the Big Ten, but the Big Ten needs recruits from the south because they don’t have any.

Agree, reason LSU agreed to play USC in home and home. Talent on west coast.

As our former commander-in-chief would say..WRONG! SEC teams would get more exposure playing against B1G schools than little pac schools. Even the kids in LA would watch an Ohio State vs any SEC team.

Ohio State can recruit the south without playing SEC teams. Our brand is so strong that we can do that.
