He's a dgd, love the guy, did it right. But just wanna say... he DID get benched this weekend, and the 2nd string came in and ignited WVU. Maybe Kirby and co. do actually know what they're doing when it comes to staffing the team?

Cheer, there was a very loud contingent who lectured us regularly on how JT was elite, Stetson was not, and Kirby was stupid. They are now acting like Nazis in 1946.

No, all of those people (except griffindawg and I think possibly 1 other) have said "boy stetson really proved us wrong!" and gone on about their lives and enjoyed all the winning. Ya know, like an adult would do. You (and OP apparently) seem to be one of the few that just loves to shite on JT at every turn for some reason, although he was a great teammate and player for us that did nothing wrong. It's really strange you've carried it on this long. I swear we're gonna get some stud QB in the 2038 class and he'll start doing well and you'll be sitting in your rocking chair muttering "he's damn sure better than JT daniels. Can't believe anyone liked that guy"

It's funny we don't ever see threads about jalen kimber, or brenton cox, or justin robinson, or otis reese, or any other people that are no longer with the program (all of the above BTW transferred within the conference, a couple to a major rival).
But JT who left on great terms, gave his all here, did everythign that was asked and was a total class act and teammate and transferred out of conference to a team we'd never play....he gets brought up once a week. I truly don't get it.

It's because a whole lot of people - both here and in real life - were constantly up our butts with wanting JT Daniels to start over Stet last year. Nobody was starting a daily jihad over any of those other players you mentioned like they were with JT Daniels.

Correct. Last year. Then stet balled out and won a national title. The fanbase is elated. All is great. JT no longer here. Stetson continues to have us rolling. Undefeeated and looking to repeat.
Yet JT is still brought up regularly. Why? last year is over and done and history. So why still rehash the topic?

No. So what? There are idiots in every fanbase and ours isn't immune. I'm sure people said dumb things in teh summer. Who cares? It's weird you have made it a personal crusade but you're not even calling out anyone specifically, you're just kinda yelling out into the open in the event it applies to someone.

They should be called out. Pretending to know more than Kirby or Monken is hubris at its worst.

And agian...nobody is actually being called out. There's just blanket generalities being thrown out without any speicfics. If you want to call someone out shuldn't you actually include their name?

No one on here knows more than them but they are humans and aren't infallible. Look at the playcalling to end the first half just 3 days ago. That was utterly stupid and downright bad playcalling, from monken and kriby. It doesn't mean they suck or should be replaced, but it shows they aren't perfect.
