What should I expect? I hate the 11AM kickoff but it should leave plenty of time for post game festivities.
Any tips? Dos? Donts?
TIA

Gotta give props where sue: Fayetteville is an excellent college town. Hang out on Dickson Street. Go mountain biking if that’s in your wheelhouse — world class trails (no exaggeration). Nice campus.

Wrights BBQ. You WILL thank me later.

Wind chill at kickoff predicted to be mid to low 20's. Bring your duck hunting clothes. Wind blows up here like a MFer.

GotDamn, That's the funniest shite I've ever seen on the internet. You make that up yourself? You should try stand up.

Dickson Street, Hugo's or Pesto Cafe. Crystal Bridges on Sunday if you have time before you leave.

If you meet a guy named Harry, don’t play “hey does this smell like chloroform”.

in all honesty, I prefer the high vinegar Carolina BBQ

My BBQ sauce taste varies and I like a lot of them. Carolina vinegar, Carolina mustard, Memphis, St. Louis, Kansas City and Texas style for brisket, etc.
But I have never had Alabama white sauce. That just sounds like mayonnaise or ranch dressing mixed with some shite, and I've never been in a place that serves it.

Sassy's Red House was good for BBQ when I went a few years back. Also liked the Powerhouse (seafood joint)

I'm from NC and man do I wish we just had KC BBQ over here. Early childhood was in MO so maybe I'm biased

So was mine. Our sauce from our part of the state was Memphis style. We also used Wickers on chicken and pork steaks.
I guess the scarcity of the Carolina-type barbecue sauces here in Mississippi make me want it more.

I wouldn't waste your time going to Wright's on game weekend, you'll spend close to three hours round trip for a meal. Traffic will suck and so will the line. It's good for sure but you've had it somewhere and you'll have it again.
There really isn't much to do other than take in the game atmosphere on and around campus (including Dickson). Emphasis on the parentheses. Best bet is to lay low and wait for a good time to slip into Farrell's for food.
