UT offsides with play stopped

With Erik Ainge's trolling comments that crowd noise would not be a problem for the vols,,,,it's even more hilarious that they even jumped offsides when the official was in the backfield stopping play. I would have though you could not be offsides when play is stopped has anyone seen that happen ever?

I thought that too, but couldn't focus very long with all the ringing in my ears.

That was a weird play. Still not sure if that happened correctly.

Only explanation I had was the Oline had set ….but they still had a dude walking off the field.

I thought it was a false start.
Left tackle jumped. They aren't allowed any sudden movements. 80% of the team wasn't down, ready, or they were looking at the sideline.
