No way in hell we don't have a WR to step up and be a contributor by now without coaching being a factor.

Lane and Sark knew how to scheme receivers open.

All BOB schemes is what his fat arse is having for dinner.

Just love watching quick screens to players like Holden and Brooks who are not quick start/stop type players and they get swarmed

Ridiculous at this point in the season for Burton to still be getting snaps

No, we don't need a new wide receiver coach!

Do you even watch the games?

Bill O'Brien can't scheme for shite!!

It has nothing to do with the wide receivers.

Those freshman Coach Wiggins recruited are really good and he has proven he can develop players.

It's up to the offensive coordinator to scheme guys open.

It’s up to the entire offensive staff to come up with a plan. Maybe Wiggins has fought tooth and nail to do something different but I’d have to hear those stories first.
IMO, the freshmen wrs haven’t shown much development from early on. They don’t block consistently and and they have dropped a few.

In there defense and Wiggins, the route trees fricking suck but so do the general routes. There are zero route runners at all on this team. None compare to amari, jeudy, smitty, and Calvin. And are the physical dominance of Julio. Julio is the best collegiate blocking wr I’ve ever seen. So until back about 1980. And it ain’t close.
In Wiggins defense, I think he lost his best bet early with Aaron Anderson.
Not sure how long Wiggins has been at bama either. Can’t remember.

WR coach was a place you could hide a coach that recruited well or was just starting out back in the day. That is disappearing and is increasingly becoming very important to have a good wr coach.
Unless you have Julio, amari,…
Lol

Its both WR and their coach

Bring back the coach from early Saban tenure when they were fewest drops

Need cleaning in WR room too

The drops isn't on the coach. It's on the players.

The whole lost season is on every coach from the top down. Also, the analyst, the strength and conditioning, all have been a shite show. The water boy sucks too.

All of our offensive problems can be instantly solved with a good OC. BOB is one of the worst OC I have ever seen. I'm really not sure who is worse, him or Golding. I think both are equally bad. Apparently some suckers at a Univeristy are going to hire BOB as head coach next year. Maybe he takes Golding with him.

I can't blame the WRs when the plays aren't schemed properly for them to get open. Get a better OC and if the WRs still underperform then I can agree with you but as of now. I can't blame the WRs coach

Nobody can make chicken salad out of chicken shite.

3,11,7 ain't it and will not be it no matter the OC or receiver coach.

Obviously McConkey is a 1st round talent.

Irony is most thought Burton was a 1st round talent last season when he was at Georgia. Now he is thought of as a bum.

Looks to me it's far more likely that a "nobody" is turning chicken into shite.

McConkey has football savvy, and he can catch when the ball is thrown his way. We have athletes that run routes and often drop passes.

What we got is what we got at this point since it doesn't appear Nick is going to insert any of the young receivers into the mix this season.

shite happens.
