I agree but that doesn't mean we should be ok with shitty coaching

Then you don’t agree.

Look, I’m not saying it’s over now, and I’m not saying we have to like it or enjoy it now, but at some point this run has to come to an end, if we can’t understand that we are all deceiving ourselves.

Respecting Saban enough to allow him to stay as long as he wants and to exit whenever and however he chooses means shitty coaching is on the table.

He gave us this dynasty. He has given us a dynasty that no other fan base has ever experienced. What are we going to give him?

There is a difference in forcing him out and not being ok with mediocre coordinators.

He's been well compensated for his work.

he deserves to stay or leave on his own terms, in whatever time he chooses

It is this way of thinking that got FSU where they are now because they let Bowden stay on way too long. If Saban runs out the string without competitive seasons then the best recruits will stop committing. Once the talent level drops without excellent coaching and development, then the entire program will begin drifting into mediocrity which will in turn lead to the better coaches turning down jobs as HC,OC, DC etc.

I agree that Saban has earned the right to decide when it is time to retire, but if he doesn’t recognize that the program is in decline and isn’t working every day to fix it, then Byrne should step in before we get to the point that we have poor talent and poor coaching and become Nebraska or FSU.
