40 years ago Coach Bryant’s Dynasty came to an end starting with a loss to Tennessee, LSU and Auburn. All of which ended long and dominant streaks we had over each. Let’s hope history is not repeating itself.

We won't lose to Auburn in BDS. Ole miss on the road could be a struggle. A bowl game on the road, with nothing to really to play for, could also be a struggle.

At this point outside of Austin pray, consider all games toss ups.

Except for ole miss next week, that one is probably a loss for sure. Unless somehow we don't commit turnovers and 100 yards of penalties on the road

This is the correct answer. I can see it in the teams' eyes and body language.

I agree. When you let a QB run untouched for a 25 yard TD in OT when you had a chance to seal the win, the effort is not there.

What makes you so sure? These guys just lost all motivation last night. Meanwhile, Auburn will be playing to salvage something out of this season and a season ending victory in BDS would be just the thing. I am suddenly dreading this game because I was hoping to drub them for a change. Now I’d just gladly take the W.

I remember and this feels eerily similar.

It isn’t just the losses, it’s how we’re losing.

This is nothing like the last years of Coach Bryant.

Coach Bryant couldn't recruit anymore, and his heart condition prevented him from a reset.

Yes and this year’s version of Auburn is nothing like AU then. That Auburn was on the way up with Pat Dye and Bo Jackson.

Alabama could easily be 5-4 right now.... But, could(should) also be 9-0. If we had Sark or Kiffin, we beat LSU and crush Texas and ATM. Probably still lose to Tennessee though.

No I’m thinking another OC might have been smart enough to run the ball at least one play to drain some clock and set Will up from a better kicking spot.

Losing to a Carnell coached Auburn team would be the lowest point since La Monroe.
