Just saw the piece on he and his family again. What a group of classy, God fearing people. Wonder when we'll get a coach like that?

Dukke, you guys could use a classy coach as well. One who doesn't refer to himself in third person nor looks like a menstrating homo by crying about an endzone dance in his POS book that sold 4 copies, that he bought up himself

Richt and his family are class acts, however I believe he is not necessarily so classy when it comes to football

Panther, when Saban is your coach and you applaud him you REALLY can't pass judgement

How is Saban not a class act?

He strikes me as a smug arrogant fellow.
I've heard rumors he was doinking some gal in
LA when he was at LSU but nothing really substantiated.
One thing about him though, at the college level
he's a proven winner.

I like how all of your reasons are assumptions.

No doubt, he's one cocky SOB. Most really good coaches are this way.

I have no idea how true or false this is. I have never heard this rumor before.
I'd have no problem if my kid wanted to play for Saban.

I'd try my damnedest to convince not to go there, but if he he really wanted to be an Aub, Id support him.

I like Saban fine, but didn't he make some sort of dumbass comparsison between his players and soldiers in Iraq or something?

He compared the loss to ULM to 9/11 and Katrina. He was talking about how many people came out and showed their best as a result of those tragedies. Not a smart thing to do comparing football to those tragedies. But, I don't hold it against him. It was a good analogy, but a bad decision to use it in a press conference.

BTW, I never saw this piece but heard alot about it. What's it about?

I like Richt and don't understand the animosity toward him. He does seem like a class act. Saban comes across as cocky at times but I have a hard time disliking the guy. He did great things for LSU and I just leave it at that.
