But at least the baw won a national championship between his Sun Belt loss and dumpster fire seasons.

And his buyout was 75% less than that of some.

And he never lost to South Carolina.

I liked Ed's pressers. He and Les were fun to watch.

Forget the blonde(s), forget the casino pool pics, forget the 11-11 record after 2019, forget the Rosy Finch Boyz.

I believe his legacy will be most tainted by only going 4-2 against Texas A&M.

I genuinely didn't know our history against them, I know we don't play very often so I decided to go look it up out of curiosity

Goes to show you that even a dumbass can win a NC with good coordinators.

Poor guy. He took it hard. I have heard from numerous bartenders in Destin that he has been on suicide watch since 2020. Suicide by Pussy, but still.

And an even dumber person can win with a top college QB…. No other schools are stupid enough to pay him $90 million though….

Dude ended everything with Go Tigaz. Gotta love that if you're an LSU fan.

The 2019 season juxtaposed against the 2020-21 seasons is a perfect microcosm of Ed Orgeron's entire career. Part of two great college football dynasties at Miami and USC (with a fall from grace in between), complete and utter disaster at Ole Miss (but left it with enough talent for Houston Nutt to go back to back 9 win seasons back when 9 win seasons meant something), great interim stint at USC, builds LSU into something resembling a pro team for one brief season, then collapses into obscurity. I've always said he had the perfect OC and DC in 2019, two steady Eddies to overcome his over the top emotional imbalance.

And as I've said about his tenure: I was very thankful for him, and very thankful to see him go.

the 4-3 lasted all of one game and Leach torched DBU to the tune of 600 passing yards by a QB who was benched a couple of weeks later

the 4-3 is the worst possible defense to line up against offenses of today
they would let the rushers get up field knowing the middle of the field was wide open
