Is the SEC typically good or bad nationally in soccer?

I don’t believe an SEC school has ever won a national championship in soccer

1998 Florida National Champions with Abby Wambach. Beat UNC for the SEC's still only Natty.
Up until the end of the 2010s, Floida has been THE power in women's soccer with Arkansas having a rise similar to ours a bit earlier.
Nationally.... Women's Soccer is still the realm of the ACC and Pac 12.
The SEC has already crashed the party, but it's been such a long time, we probably need to do it again.

From 14 to No. 1: Alabama Soccer's Journey to the SEC Mountaintop (SI)
It wasn't an overnight success, but Crimson Tide soccer can now call itself a conference champion.
