I am not flaming in any shape or form, but am solely wanting to hear your rationalization for this question:
How can yall continue to assert that you have a great defense that will stop Florida?
Yes you beat us, that happened last week and I applaud you on the win. With that said, your "good" defense gave up the same number of points as our "terrible" defense and almost 500 yards of offense. Your offense has a preseason heisman favorite and a first round qb. Our offense has a redshirt qb that is not that great right now, and our run offense was shut down by florida.
With this being said and you solely look at the facts, how can you feel confident about your d, as you appear to be, against the most explosive offense in the country???
Just food for thought.

I aint one that thinks our D is going to shut down Florida. Not sure anyone thinks we are going to hold them to under 20, hell maybe even under 30 is delusional the way they are playing. I am hoping our offense can outscore them, and our D just bends more than it breaks.
My hope is that this game looks a lot like last years, where we ran the ball well enough that the D didnt have to be in bad spots and have to win the game for us.
No super defense chest pumping here. More of a "we can match their offensive production" (hopefully) from me.

This is not really food for thought. I don't think that many of us are really too comfortable with our D. I know I am not.

My prediction for the UGA/UF game is 42-28, UGA. Very similar to last year (as Georgia's defense is).
Every matchup is different, and Demps/Rainey are a whole lot better matchup for us than Scott and LSU's OL are (especially when Ellerbe was out as he won't be for the UF game).
Demps/Rainey had 21 carries against LSU. I doubt they get more than 10 against UGA. They will be put away pretty quickly with Harvin then getting most of the hand-offs.
How do you explain Holliday only having 3 yards on 3 carries against UGA's awful defense (on a day when Scott was running all over us)?

I'm not confident in our defense. I'm confident in our team. I also realize that just because LSU put up 500 yards on us doesn't mean UF will. Different teams, different schemes, and the game will likely have a different "flow".

it aint about the defense bro. do you think they have the defense to stop our offense?

Because we are confident enough in our offense that they will match every thing and more that of the UF offense, even though they are quite different, our offense is upbeat enough to keep up.
