You have to stop this. This is not a valid argument.

1. It wasn’t considered trespassing if the university is tolerating/allowing it at the time of its occurrence

2. Even if it was considered trespassing, the university wasn’t doing anything about it

3. Even if it was trespassing and the university wanted to do something about it, it’s the job of campus/local police and security to address it, not football players (Burton).

4. Even if Burton was allowed to help security with the trespassing (he wasn’t), he made no effort to stop people with reasonable force or action. He wasn’t calling on people to leave (that I saw or have read reported) or attempting to detain or remove anyone from the field.

5. The only valid reason for Burton to use force against someone in that situation is in self defense. The evidence showed that he was the instigator against that woman, so it wasn’t self defense.

Someone trespassing doesn’t give Burton the right to hit them. He can’t punch them, kick them, stab them, shoot them, or rape them just because they are on the field. You need to quit justifying bad behavior.
