I don’t even remember good leadership and competent playmaking from the most important position on the field in modern football.
You aren’t winning shite with the above four guys. That’s a fact. And it’s depressing after what we had for a good long while.

I had a disturbing thought. The dwindling fans that are still giving Drink a pass until he gets Horn QB’ing are helping his case for sticking around. What if Horn is “not all that” and Drink knows it (or can’t figure out how to develop him). As long as he doesn’t put him on the field he’ll still have that anticipation from some. If he plays Horn and he’s a bust, does his “wait until he gets all his guys in” support dry up?

He’s in a no-win situation.
If he plays him and he’s great, he looks dumb.
If he plays him and he’s bad, the fallout would be bad.
The only way he comes out ok is if he’s not that different than Cook.

These 4 are a result of terrible recruiting by our defensive genius coach Barry Odom. It takes a year to 18 months to recruit a good high school QB. Then 2 to 3 years of coaching to mold the QB and maybe if your lucky 1 to 2 years.
It’s hard to find a good transfer QB when they can’t get paid like other places can/will pay them.
