The more I watch San Diego State, the more I don’t see Tennessee as a good comparison.

I see a longer, more athletic Virginia as a better comp. They make you work and grind out possessions, but they’re not overwhelming or physical like Tennessee.

Yep - they line up just general metric wise with Tennessee, but their defensive style of play is much more like Virginia or us, frankly, than Tennessee. They don't foul a lot, they don't turn the other team over a lot, they switch everything.

I agree with everything Harper said. I think that it may take us a while, maybe even halftime adjustments, to start getting comfortable against their defense. I don't think they will ever get comfortable against our defense.
