Even considering all the penalty’s, if BoB would have just ran ONCE after the first down and killed the clock a little it never would have happened. Defense would have never been on a position to make a stop. frick BoB. If he’s not fired Saban no longer has the schools best interest at heart and his priority’s are to his coaches.

That was extremely stupid. Just forcing UT to use ONE timeout puts us into overtime.

I couldn't believe they didn't run the ball to force them to use their timeouts and then try the FG with no time remaining. These geniuses get paid millions.

Huge difference between a 50 yd attempt and a 40 yard one from in the middle of the field. We put our kickers in a bad situation too often.

It’s the coaches job to put the team in the best position to win. What does that? Throwing three passes that if incomplete kills the clock, or running the ball that, even if it’s for no gain, forces the clock to run eliminating the possibility of what we saw at the end?
Don’t give me that #1 dropped the ball bullshite. High percentage plays is what you’re paid to dial up.
