I still remember their band playing Rocky Top and Glen Mason saying something about their fans being outnumbered but not outclassed at the ‘04 Music City bowl.

Yes, and we had just played the same horrid slogging loss where we missed 3-4 wide open passes that would have won the game for what felt like the 9th time that season.

At the time, a Minnesota band member made the claim to one of my sister’s friends that the song was an intentional troll over Fulmer’s involvement with the Albert Means stuff.
I do not believe that Minnesota band member, but I do believe my sister that someone at least claimed it was.
