Saturday's game was as close to old school Saban ball as we're gonna get

B.O.B. calling horrible plays at terrible times, trying to make milroe into a passer, aside, it was beautiful. Yes there were mistakes. Yes there were missed opportunities. But god damn did bama dominate on the lines. They dominated a team with some great talent on the lines, even if they are under-developed/under-utilized.

I loved the grit and tenacity I saw Saturday. I love this team.

My hope is that the silver lining of BY not being available for the last game and a half is that the rest of the team found something in the fact they had to step up and couldn’t rely on BY to bail them out and perhaps that pays dividends down the road. Oline had to assert itself to run the ball. Defense knew it had to get stops because BY wasn’t going to save them if they gave up the lead. Etc.

You could see the lines start to dominate...followed by a turnover. Frustrating, but take the W.

The McClellan fumble was a heartbreaker. If I recall correctly, that was good run, first down, and that big Aggie player launched his helmet into the ball. Great play by him.

We just couldn't take control of the game because of turnovers.

We were also driving to go up 13 or 17 and put the game away.

Had at least 2-3 of those situations. We were on the verge of blowing that game open all night long. One of the most frustrating nights I can remember.

My biggest hope is this OL plays as well with Bryce as it has without him the last two games. If we have the ability to run the ball at will with his ability to pass and make good decisions, this offense will be impossible to stop.

Yep. You could see and feel it. We would start leaning on them and they were giving out, then fumble.
