The officials need to call it fairly or stop calling it at all. How they decide or when to call it is a mystery. I feel if they called it more the kids would be taught proper technique instead of how to hold.

What’s the point of my REC dues if they’re going to call holding fairly?

Will Anderson is held on a regular basis. Numerous times last night not called once.

At some point, you just let them play. The SEC is a physical league.
Look at the Bama-UTx game to see all of the pussified calls from a soft arse conference

Problem is, holding has become something
like speed limits on interstates where if you
abide by them, everybody is passing you.
Holding is so out of control now, making the call
is often just picking and choosing.

PI and holding are entirely too subjective. Both should be made legal to level the playing field.

How do they decide or when to pick one. Look at Bama's tying drive against Auburn last year, there was at least one hold on every single play. Look at Burrow's senior year . LSU hardly had a clean block for the entire season

If you want it called fairly you are going to have to take the call away from the on field officials and call it from the booth. It's about a thousand times different looking at the play from your mom's basement versus being on the field. Even though each official has a area to focus on there is to much going on at speed to see it all while trying to stay out of the way and not getting ran over. That's just the way it is I'm sorry.
The review process is a shite show, can you imagine what it would be like for a flag flying onto the field 10 or 15 seconds after a play when the booth referee buzzed the on field official to throw a flag?
