He really isn't getting credit for that last drive. The criticism I have for Jimbo is we keep burning timeouts early . We should have had 2 timeouts left on that last drive or more time from calling timeouts when Bama had the ball last. We should have had 2 or 3 plays to get it in.

I think we had to waste 2 timeouts in the 2nd half due to lack of preparedness, one for personnel issues and one for getting the play in too late. We also had one (maybe two) personnel issues that resulted in penalties.
A common theme under Fisher, and when you aren't good enough in other aspects of the game, self-inflicted injuries like these can be the difference between winning and losing. Probably another argument for Jimbo needing to get over himself and hire an OC so he can take more responsibility for holding everyone accountable play-by-play
