What the bad guys are doing on defense and adjusts the game plan accordingly. Auburn made an effort to take away the perimeter game and we eventually made them pay. Left some points on the field and missed some throws, but good adjustment and execution. 6 rushing TDs vs Auburn is sexy.

We just beat War Eagle 42-10 and I feel bad about it. I feel like we left points everywhere. Welcome to the new UGA.

there were some in the game thread who claimed that bobo being on staff has influenced monken's gameplan and play calls lmao

This is so true. In some ways it’s great we look over so much of the past misery. In other ways, the changed expectations take some of the joy of winning away.

It was fun yesterday. The crowd was ready to go if needed. Hope we stay healthy and keep improving. Team has upside for sure.

Kinda feels like the 2017 season. Good defense. Some ugly wins on offense. Some still ugly blowouts too. Made it all the way til the refs fricked us in the natty.

I watched clips from the original blackout vs auburn in 08 i think, it wasnt as lopsided as most remember and we scored a bunch of points in second half just like yesterday.

Does it tick anyone else off to think of what could of happened had we had Monken since the beginning?

You’re welcome. Think of all the times we came out with great plans and never adjusted. Thank God for Monken.

Monken returning for a third year was the most underrated development in the offseason. It's hard to have that kind of continuity on offense AND be successful in CFB, so I'm pretty thankful for Monken, but I'm also enjoying it while it lasts.

Monken should stimulate much interest in struggling programs come winter or spring.
