Man, watching ACC Huddle on ACC Net... Richt sitting there holding that pen so he won't shake. His speech is robotic. So sad, he does not deserve it. Great man, terrible malady.

It's a good reminder that life (and health) is fleeting. We aren't promised tomorrow, so we need to seek God through faith in Jesus Christ now, before the judgement comes.

Pneumonia is the case, with a "mild" case of covid, according to AJC.

frick China, first of all.

Second of all, 90 is 90.

I'm barely halfway to 90 and I already feel like I might die any day now.

Me too. Everything stopped working at 40. At 45 I’m glad lived long enough to see a national title.

I saw Coach Dooley at a party a couple years back and he was still looking strong for an 88 year old man. Hope he still is.

Parkinson’s is a terrible disease. CMR is such a fine man, I hate to see this happen to him. The men I know who have it are good proud men and it pains me to see their embarrassment when they can’t control their spasms.

I do a lot more praying these days than I used to, that's for sure. I don't know if you call it karma or reaping what's sewn, or something else, but I think of all the bullshite that should have killed me, or others, by now, is catching up. Like, if there's a bargaining phase with St. Peter I'd say something like "really? I'm in my 40's with a family" and he'd say "remember when you flipped that go-cart when you were 11, remember when you fell off that dirt bike when you were 13, and that time when you were 23 after you picked up that Teddy Pendergrass Greatest Hits tape from the gas station bargain bin and decided to go joy riding in the cemetery with that whore?" And then I'd say "ok ok, you got me, but my family doesn't deserve this" and he'd say "oh, let me tell you about your wife and kid and all the shite you don't know about"

Quit quitting in real time. Rub some dirt on it

Meanwhile Unvaxxed non-neurotic un-drama queen topic:

I believe that the movie “Halloween “ is one of top 5 films of all time. Just rewatched.

The musical score is insane

100% agree. The only horror movie that ever scared the shite out of me.

Check out the Netflix behind the scenes thing "The movies that made us" about that movie.

I thought Dog Soldiers was a better werewolf movie. You forgot to add Dead Birds in that scary movie list

And he needs to get out of the hospital
ASAP

My mother went in with mild symptoms of
Covid and was kept in unnecessarily long (6 days) then became I'll about a month later with a MRSA infection she picked up during the stay and passed away from it.

There are still some incredibly stupid rules hospitals follow when it comes to the elderly and Covid.

Still pissed about the situation.

She was in her 90's and lived a very fruitful life but had no serious health problems before this and more life to give.

Thanks for the condolences.
