I don't remember if there was a penality called against this cheap shot by Missouri's lineman. Truthfully, this player should have been ejected from the game .. perhaps suspend him from Missouri's next game. Totally unacceptable ... absolutely no place in college football for this trash.

No penalty was called but the announcers definitely called it out.

Yep, it was a chop-block that took out one of our best DL.
Their DB's were mugging our receivers the entire first half.
I think Kirby or one of our coaches called out the officials who finally started calling PI on them in the second half.

Missouri is trash and Drink is white trash, they said Muschamo alluded to playing App State years ago and all of his lineman were left with lower body injuries from all the cutting and chopping.

He is known for employing such tactics.

Cutting is legal. We cut block some too.

Once he engaged with the other OL it becomes illegal.

That's called a chop block. A cut block is just going low. And is legal. Cut block while defender is engaged up high is illegal chop block.

Thanks for the definition. He engaged the other offensive lineman making it an illegal play. Call it whatever you want. It’s illegal.

There was another egregious hold I saw where a Miz OL appeared to full on wrapped up and tackled one of our DL (didn't catch who)...no holding penalty and right in front of the ref.

Update: Caught Top Billin analysis and you can see this on the video relative to the Nolan Smith huge sack for loss play. Zion Logue (96) gets tackled by #66 wrapped up and hanging on. It's damn near a horse collar tackle. It bent Logue backwards too.

He gets a little excited at times, especially when talking about Washington, but he really breaks down stuff good
