While I agree overall, Odom had a nearly perfect play call set up on the long qb run.

I'd have to watch the replay again to see if it was man or zone, but it was so obviously going to be a QB run, screen or draw.

No way in hell that Bama was going to throw the ball down field unless there was blown coverage.

Really the only thing he could have done different, other than run zone if he was in man, was not rush the QB so that we were playing for the draw or screen.

If he did that and they completed a 15 yard pass, we'd cry about that too.

Fact is, he called a spy play and Bumper got beat by a mile.

Pool should never be the spy.

Moreover, Pool probably doesn’t need to see the field anymore. He’s seen too many long plays from his arse after overrunning the play and whiffing on the arm tackle.
