Not a terrible home slate.
And we avoid Florida and Georgia.

Who is even left on the team? I feel like the transfer portal took half the roster.

Well Murph is still there and a hitting coach isn't so I don't see much changing.

I believe we lost 6 to the portal and one to graduation. We picked up 4 freshmen and 3 transfers.

I got so excited when I saw the Twitter Notification that "Alabama Softball Assistant to named HC of Samford"
only to find out it was the pitching coach, the one position we've been solid at for over a decade. Dammit

Adam Arbour Joins Alabama Softball Staff as Coordinator of Player Management
Alabama softball head coach Patrick Murphy announced the hiring Adam Arbour as the Crimson Tide's first ever Coordinator of Player Management.
In this position, Arbour is responsible for gathering and interpreting data for all positions on the field, coordinating analytics for both offense and defense, as well as incorporating new technology for the team and staff.
"We are so excited to welcome Adam back to Tuscaloosa," UA head coach Patrick Murphy said. "He helped us win a lot of games as a volunteer assistant coach and we are really looking forward to seeing what he can do in the player development realm. His love of the game and Alabama softball will make him an excellent addition to our staff. Our current and future student-athletes will be the benefactors."

Is he a hitting coach? Is he a defensive coach? Does he know how to manage and evaluate pitchers? Is he a person that knows how to develop players? Does he know how to differentiate from being one of the girls? If so, good hire Greg!
