Both are highly like to get beat, possibly badly.

Who steps in as interim if this happens?

Drink is safe until season is over. 90% chance Drink is fine through next year, too. I think Drink's only chance of getting fired this year would be to win 1 game or less in SEC play.

Mizzou fans have said that they wouldn't make a move until after the season, if then, no matter how things go.

After that fiasco Saturday I'm not so sure.

I would be very surprised if Harsin makes it to the game with Ole Kiff in a couple of weeks. But even if he does, he's gone right after.

That is why Mizzou will always underperform in the SEC.

Too much patience with mediocrity

I hope not, in Harsin's case. Although getting Drink canned this week, and getting the privilege of ending Harsin's career after the DSOR would be sweet.

What if Harsin actually turns the team around?

Next season is finally the year drinks players are all at least sophomores or juniors. So its do or die time. Year 1 sucked for coaches because it was near impossible to recruit with covid, so he rode it out with Odom players.

Probably not. The Georgia massacre will likely be the nail in Harsin’s coffin

He should have been fired for his bonehead decision at the end of regulation on Saturday.

You've been one of his biggest critics on this forum from the moment he was hired.

What have you seen from AU this year that makes you think that 'turning the team around' is something he's capable of doing?

While Im pissed at drink for that too, I get his thought. You have an all American kicker, that should have been almost guaranteed. But I said before he elected to kick it that you have to keep pounding it.

Freep, Harsin has a plan for Auburn football, and you all need to give him time

if both were getting fired after a bad win or an ugly loss then it would have been last weekend. I dont think so.
