Yeah. I agree with that. We don’t know what the ceiling is for Drinkwitz.

He could be our next Pinkel. He could be the next Mark Stoops. We should give him the opportunity to show that. I would honestly give him two years beyond this.

He’s recruiting as good as anyone else we would bring in, so it’s not like a Cuonzo situation where every year is a deeper hole for the next coach to dig out from a talent perspective.

I want to be absolutely sure he’s not the guy before we pull the trigger.

You really have to see where it goes with Horn. I hate to lay everything on him, but if Drink can keep the team together and pushing, keep bringing in talent it all sets up rather nicely.

I don’t think Cook is nearly as bad as most seemingly do, but his ceiling just isn’t that high. He does not have near the arm talent that Horn has.

Everyone should be willing to allow him the opportunity to bring along Horn as he sees fit. It will be sooner rather than later in any event. If there aren’t serious upward signs when his elite QB recruit is playing and his top recruits are in their second and third years then yeah, it becomes a legitimate discussion to start having…but not now.

It was brutal watching the game yesterday, but I agree. It’s still too early to make a call to fire the HC. Odom left a total dumpster fire. It takes much longer in football and one or two year guys are not going to provide massive turn around even with the stellar recruiting. Those guys are still too new. I want to see Horn starting next year with Burden, Lovett, etc.
