Well, moron, that's mostly because a healthy ALABAMA did beat that Georgia team just a few weeks earlier and has the SECCG title to show for it. And by the way moron, the score was 41-24.

I really don't like to play the whole "if so and so hadn't got hurt" game because every team can say that at some point in time. If Bama had their starting wide receivers would they have beaten Georgia? Maybe, maybe not. If Colt hadn't got hurt would Texas had won. Maybe, maybe not. But it doesn't matter. You play with who you have and the results are what they are. Blaming a loss on injuries is just a cop out.
