I'm just enjoying all the muh buhleefs butthurt. People get too riled up about what some random stranger believes or doesn't, Christian, atheist or otherwise. If someone "knows" they're right then what does it matter what someone else thinks? Insecurity or perceived superiority..

In my case, because we have someone spouting nonsense about it. If you have someone who is already struggling with their faith, they may believe the nonsense and further lose their faith.

So I have a responsibility to refute the nonsense.

As a Christian, I have a vested interest in the truth. For one, I see it as bringing glory to God to tell people the truth. Secondly, I don't want anyone to go to hell. I would love nothing more than for all people to be brought to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and be reconciled to God. When someone is an outspoken enemy of Jesus Christ, I want them to know the gospel with the hope that the Lord would use it to save them, since God uses the means of the preaching of the gospel as the ordinary way He saves people.

For Christians, it's not just a matter of differing opinions, but a literal (eternal) life and (eternal) death situation.
