I was pointing out your judgement on two things with which I disagreed at the time proved to be pretty damned accurate.

And now I agree with you about Deion. If - and in my mind it’s a huge if - he were willing to come here I think it wouldn’t work out for him or us.

jang summed up my reaction as well. I just couldn’t accept that our brilliant post-Gustav plan was to promote a guy who was a miserable failure in his only previous HC stint, but in hindsight we would have been in a much better position now had the PTB gone through with it.

ETA: how ironic is it that one of this board’s previous fave HC targets, with the PTB’s choice as his DC, got beat at home last night by a team with our previous HC as their DC.
