The Texas fans crying about "horns down" are pansies. Every fanbase has a contingency of people too sensitive about their school's traditions.

I doubt that the horns down is much of a trigger for tu fans just like the thumbs down is a trigger for Aggies or the guns down is a big deal to tech fans. It is expected. It really is not a big deal to either fanbase. Doing it in the face of an opposing player during a game is a form of taunting and will earn your team a penalty.
