I’m always confused why the Texas horns up signs bothers the team opposing Texas and why the horns down triggers the frick out of Texas.

Schools have been doing the Horns Down for decades and it only recently became a point of contention.
Why?
Recently, while playing Texas Tech, a UT WR scored a TD and did the Guns Down in the end zone (instead of the Guns Up the ways Texas Tech does it) and the Texas player was penalized. We asked the Big 12 Conference, "Why is it okay for everyone to do Horns Down but we can't do the same with someone else's hand sign." The Big 12 conference then decided to penalize the Horns Down.

For the 45 million time, it does not trigger MOST Texas fans. I'd say keep doing it. So the frick what? It's just a hand gesture. Jesus Christ. Everybody else makes a huge deal about it.
