My God. Aggies dropped 18 spots. Is that an AP poll record?

Oregon went from 11 to unranked after week one

Sorry I can’t math too good. I feel like that’s a bigger fall though.

Well, Notre Dame just went from 8th to NR, so that’s *technically* 18, but probably more if you extrapolated out the remaining votes. They’d probably come in like 40th, so that drop is really bigger.

Can’t remember the last time a team went from top 10 to out of the polls in one week.

A lot of this is just dumb. So you screw up and lose to a Sun Belt team and now all of a sudden there are 25 teams that are better than you?

You lose to a sunbelt team, you should not be allowed back in top 25

It was fun watching the historic upset and realizing how that program is stained for decades now.

But what sucks is that A&M vs Miami was supposed to be the hyped up marquee primetime matchup next week.

Agree , everybody has the big bodies kids and plenty of skill players. Any FBS team not in prime cobdition could lose to the top of that conference.

Why people get so bent about it. GA Southern ot with Richt pissed me off because we were in state and have 100 times the resources.

Remember losing to Southern Miss and was like Oh well.

When you pay an inferior team $1.5 million to come get your backups some reps, and to pad your win column…..but end up losing, its bad. To this day, I still look at Michigan differently after whenever that was. Its emasculating. Whether fair or not

I think there's more to what happened this weekend than we really understand though.

The full moon thing is of course bullshite. One or two of these? Sure, its college football. But chaos across the bard? No. Theres no way to prove it or measure it, but i believe Week 2 of 2022 is just the begining of the unintended consequences we’re going to start seeing from NIL, free agency, and the NFL’azation of this once pure sport.

Is agree it’s just the ranking system never makes much sense. Look at FL dropping below Utah after their loss to KY. Didn’t they just play a week ago?

Going into week 1 UF was not ranked. After they beat Utah they jumped all the way to 12. After losing last night they fall out of the top 25. Couldn’t happen to a better group!

Side note, the rankings mean nothing, just keep winning and getting better each week!

NIL is making the Haves soft distinctional and entitled

The Have-nots are hungry enraged and pissed.

Kirby is doing a damned good job of managing this so far

You can call it consequences but did you hate what you saw yesterday?
I was expecting a pretty boring slate of games and then wound up having face melted off for 10 hours straight trying to flip channels to see all the brewing upsets. I had a great day of football watching yesterday.

Interesting language

It was historic. And I enjoyed it too. There’s a sea change going on though. Just a theory. Theories are allowed still
