We won our first tough road game with a re-tooled team with lots of new faces on a 11:00 am kickoff, in a hostile environment when it's 120 degrees on the field.....against a team that has talent against our former OC who knows all our tendencies and is the best play caller in the game

Jesus some of you people suck

Exactly! Also, I watched Texas a lot last year, I knew this would be a close game and tried to tell Bama fans but they laughed at me. Texas was up 28 on OU last year. Texas lost 4 straight last year after leading by double digits. Anyone who had been following them knew how much better Sark was making them already last year. He's recruiting as well as anyone in the country as well.

Like you said, it was an 11AM game. We didn't have our band and it didn't look like many Bama fans made the trip either.

When a star leader like Anderson is pulling the BS he was pulling, that is 100% on Anderson.

People love to bitch about Golding but once again, when the offense was playing like shite and pissing the game away our D stepped up and kept getting us the ball back. I don't love Golding but he isn't the problem.

And Bryce has to quit holding the ball so long, he could have run a lot in the first quarter and he didn't and it killed a lot of early drives, not to mention dropped passes and Bob running up the middle on every first down.

When Bryce started running, everything opened up. It's like when Tua was healthy and could run, we were almost unstoppable but when injuries kept him in the pocket, we had big issues like the Clemson game. Linebackers can just drop back in coverage if they aren't worried about a QB running but if they are worried, they have to spy or stay closer to the LOS which opens up passing lanes all over.

I agree with this. It completely changed the way defenders approach things. He's going to have to do it more and have to be careful with it.

It also gets him and us in a rythm.
