People got upset when I said last week that coaching matters way more than recruiting in college football unless you are playing for an SEC title or national championship. Yesterday was a great reminder of that. Just look at App State, Marshall, kansass, etc. Good coaching wins in college football, period.

So you're saying the coach at App State is better than Jimbo Fisher? And the Marshall coach is better than the ND coach? What happens when those coaches lose a game?

And, in the past, Gary Pinkel was out coached by all those folks with 4 and 5 star recruits while we had 2 and 3 stars because it's all about coaching and not the players?

I'm just trying to get my head on straight so I know who to bitch at.

After throwing that 4th interception Drink should have taken himself out of the game.

They are still the problem. Cook performed admirably today with the pocket collapsing so much. The fumble was caused by that collapse. And that was against acu. Auburn is going to be tough unless we can figure out a way to open some holes and protect the qb.

Defense looked pretty solid, especially the takeaways.
