Whats the major worry?
Shifting earth?
No. My wife is scared of "the middle of nowhere"
I'd happily buy acerage in Virginia and go off grid. She needs shopping, etc.
So, if all goes well, we headed to the land of BDR. Florida.

If he fills holes or low spots and doesn't pack the ground thoroughly, your floor will soon fill the holes. Also, have him make sure the ground slopes slightly away from the foundation to keep basement or crawl space dry and garage from having a stream running into it during rans.
