Longhorn Texas BBQ - In Cairo, Egypt
The Salt Slab - Midlands, South Africa
Braeswood BBQ - Las Vegas, Nevada
2fifty BBQ - Washington DC
ABBQ Meats - Atlantic Beach, Florida
All promote "Texas style bbq" and I can keep on naming places. 40 years ago there might have been "memphis style" places popping up, but if you take a look around the country and beyond over the last decade, it's Texas bbq thats being emulated, not memphis, kansas city, or anywhere else.

I have yet to try ABBQ in Atlantic Beach, but my understanding, from some folks who have had it, is it is not really Texas style like you are probably thinking. Other than brisket it’s your standard pulled pork, pork ribs, and turkey. It’s really a marketing gimmick to try and distinguish itself from other bbq joints around here.
There’s a few places in Jax that claim a Texas style in that they include brisket, but I very much doubt you’d approve.
