When we faked the punt in the second half and came away with zero points, this was an indicator to me this team has some major problems. Here was Coach Miles giving his team every opportunity to win the game and we just could not over come our mistakes. I'm still holding out hope we can gel as a team. It has to start with the QB's. The rest of the team will feed off successful QB play. The DC coordinators need to step up. The talent is there, it's simply coaching at this point. The players don't seem to be on the same page with the coaches. I feel Coach Miles needs to do something to right the ship so we don't lose too much momentum with our program.

When we were down 21-17 in the 2nd quarter after coming back from being down 21-7.

We were driving running the ball very well and on 1st/10 from our own 40 we call a pass play and Lee chucks it downfield into double coverage after rolling out and it gets intercepted. Bad play call and even worse decision. UGA drove 30 yards then got a FG to make it 24-17 before halftime. I think if we were down 21-20 or even had a lead of 24-21 or at worst were down 21-17 at half we keep the momentum going into the 2nd half which is HUGE in football.

Excellent post. Even after that I thought we could still win the game. I would venture to say we did not take advantage of at least 5 or 6 opportunities to win this game. I don't know if I've ever seen us pass up so many in one game. Florida is going to exploit everyone of these against Georgia for a big Gator win. UF is the class of the SEC at this point.

Yeah, I'm sure the UGA coaches felt the same way after giving up 38 points to a team with no QB.

the other thing really for the whole year is the breaks have not gone LSU's way. Not blaming officials but LSU has been on the wrong end of some calls this year where last year those maybe went our way. Games play out based on breaks and the ability to take advantage of those. This year we have generally given other teams the breaks while not making any of our own. To me it still comes down to youth at specific critical positions

the fact that your D is as bad as ours. actually worse, we had more yards, you couldn't stop a RB with no passing game to support him.

HATCH should not be playing. He cost us the pts on that drive. I dont think he could start for some D3 programs.

Congrats to Scott and co. for their runs.

I haven't checked, but I bet the season stats paint a different story in terms of our run D. Y'all did some quality runs there in the second quarter, I agree, but Les would never give up on the passing game - just not prudent to make your offense that 1 dimensional. Still a great game though.

Florida is going to be a big test. Should be a great game this weekend!

i felt it turned bad when our d thought tackling Knowshon would hurt his fricking feelings so they rolled over and let him run for 70 and a td.

also how mccray looks like a fricking dog on d. Any fake he chases its like a dog with a toy.

the first play of the game, O.C. fault! Our Freshman Q.B. has shown us time and again, that he cannot make that play!
