If you were hiring for your program and had a choice ... do you take Dabo or Pittman in 2022?

We do better with coaches that love and understand our program it seems.

Lou and Petrino were good short term, but give me a Hog……

Then you would understand why we would prefer Dabo, and he has some rings. But neither is who will be Saban's replacement. So it is a "moo point".

This is dumb. Dabo easily. He still runs a tight ship with a great culture. He's just stuck with a really cruddy QB. It can happen to the best of programs.

Like Pittman but Odom has been the key to the Hogs success.

I like Pittman. And Dabo creeps me out big time. Would mixture rather hang out with Pittman than Dabo. But obviously the answer to your question is Dabo. He’s won titles and morbidly obese rednecks almost never work out at HC.

I’m talking about at my program. We can’t recruit at Bama level but Sam can get and keep good assistants so that’s a plus. Devo would be fired year 3 here.

When Saban leaves Bama reality will set in, we’ve seen it before, we’ll see it again.

Enjoy him while you have him then buy plenty of ammo when he steps down.

Dabo has a few too many cringe worthy moments under his belt. Seems a bit too self righteous.

Pittman is 13-11. He’s a solid coach and easy to root for, but I don’t understand why people think he is a natty level coach. I hate Dabo but you can’t argue with the sustained success he’s had at Clemson. It’s pretty remarkable.

Yes obviously Bama has never won anything without Saban as head coach. Reality will set in.

100% Dabo!!

Sam Pittman appears to be an awesome HC, so far.

That said, he hasn't been a HC long enough to even compare to Dabo. Hell, the guy has won not only one, but 2 national championships.

R U 4 Real?

At this point, there is no comparison. Dabo period. Even Pittman would say this. Dude is humble, and doing a fine job, but still has some learning to do as HC. He is on a fine trajectory thus far!

Between Bear and Saban is what I mean. Slim pickings.
