We've got better athletes on both sides of the ball.

Do we have better coaching? Will they be prepared? Are they focused?

I think they will be locked and loaded. Ready to come in and hit those fools in the mouth.

I like Mizzou and the points for sure. Mizzou wins this one by a TD.

The real question is why Mizzou isn't the favorite against a lesser talented team? Maybe coaching is the reason? Any coach should beat a lesser talented team than their own. If it is not by much or the talent level isn't that much better, then it will be won by home field advantage and/or just coaching the team a bit better.

Well, I can tell you that in the world of gambling, home field does get you a few points. I think it's somewhere in the vicinity of 3 to 5 points (at least in the NFL). This really is a toss up game, it seems like both squads are similar.

If rain is going to be in play, which team will have the edge?

I don’t trust Drink’s playbook…he’s going to have to expose some of it tomorrow because some of us are starting to believe it doesn’t exist.

The passing team has a bit of an advantage since coverage loosens. But it depends on the amount of rain. In that monsoon in sc a few years ago, the advantage was with the team with the wind at their back.

He’s got some herky jerky plays. They’re pretty cool. They don’t work. But they’re pretty cool.

The betting line is like, yeah, we don't know much about him but he seems the epitome of average and sometimes lucky. .500 record with all signature wins against down teams (LSU and Florida) on heroic plays at the end and zero bowl wins.

Boots on the ground here in Manhattan. Seeing a lot of black and gold. The home field advantage might not be as strong as anticipated. Tigers by 24

This team isn’t good…again.

Drinks plays suck.

Cook is not a starting quality QB

No down field throws

Bad blocking

D isn’t good

We have as good a receiver room as we’ve had since probably 2014?

And no QB and/or no route design.

Drink is a very good evaluator of talent but terrible at developing them. This is like the opposite of Odom. We just traded the pros and cons.

Who would be a good one to replace Drinkwitz? I am dead serious about this.

Man, I don't want to go there. I'm here for the long term rebuild. I never even wanted Odom gone.

I was upset with the play calling initially like everyone else. But after watching the 4 interceptions, it’s clear why the play calling is the way it is. That’s why Drink was in such a huge push for a transfer QB. He knew they didn’t have a QB ready.

The offensive line isn’t there yet either which doesn’t help our QB.

The defense isn’t great as they looked obviously but against 4 turnovers and really short fields, they did step up after Q1. it’s a step forward but not solved.

Odom left a total mess. I have been a Drink fan but he is going to have to have some on field success soon. It’s going to be a long season. If he can develop Horn, hold together another solid or better recruiting class, then maybe he has a chance next year.

Mizzou was a tough rebuild. He needs at least one more year to show on field results. His stellar recruiting classes are all Freshman / Sophmores. Everyone was ready to dump Pinkel early too. Maybe Drink isn’t the answer but can’t be flipping coaches too fast.
