Hope and optimism runneth over. After tonight, the boys begin showing us and the world who they are. It’s a clean slate, a chance to seize the narrative and write your own story.

I know these boys and Coach Harsin will make us proud. Give them hell. Us against the world.

Die first, then quit.

This season is basically then end of the Gus era. Most of our main players were his recruits. So far the future looks kinda of ole missish, before Lane.. hope I’m wrong

I'm calling this watch the middle game. That's where my attention will be tomorrow. Everything I want to see if right down the middle of the field on both sides of the ball.

Tank - I want to see if he continues to always bounce outside or does he cut inside on zone runs
TJ - Season depends on what kind of QB play we get in a lot of ways.
Center/Guards - Can they move the line of scrimmage. Especially against what should be an over matched DL.

Jayson Jones/NT - Can we be a run stopping middle like can't move the 0 tech guys.
Owen Pappoe - Can he improve and not over run plays, can he read the play and fill the hole in run plays. Sure tackle like Zakoby was.

Safety - Can they tackle and cover in space. Especially Zion he has the experience and is heavy so can he cover deep if he get isolated.

Friday night before a new season and I see ballers making plays for shite schools like Western Michigan and I’m hoping Camden makes that jump on Saturdays. We certainly don’t have a monopoly on talent but talent is literally everywhere.

Blackerby has been high on Dawson. I think with the heap of names we have heard from that room this fall, someone is bound to become “that guy”

I am most interested in the center spot. I worry (not so much tomorrow) big time about Tate’s size

Don’t sleep on Shed Jackson. Finley seemed to like him last year and I think his ceiling bumps up this year. I have him on my college fantasy team.

Camden though, I’m hoping to see him early. Fall standouts mean a lot more to me than spring practice standouts and Camden has shown up in a big way.

Some reporter asked Harsin about his size which was weird. Is he small?

Salebak from Western Michigan would have Chex cream his pants. He is a tad more athletic but works the pocket like a Sean White clone.

Nah, he’s around 285-290. But supposedly, he’s one of our strongest Olinemen.
