We'll miss him on special teams but wasted is a stretch. Seems more like he was overranked out of high school.

He was always a "potential" or "raw" rating anyway. He could run like a deer and hit like a truck but he probably weighed 200 pounds when he got here and was never lauded as an instinctive player.

Time will tell, but there was a kid in this class that reminded me a lot of Kennedy in HS. Raylen Wilson that ended up signing with UGA.

Speed is very important at ILB, but being able to diagnose and go is more important. Any LB on our roster is fast enough if they can do that. CJ Mosley, Demeco Ryans, Reuben Foster were all elite because of instincts, not raw speed. If you get a half second head start on everyone else you're one of the best players on the field regardless of your speed measurables. If you're a half second behind everyone else, that track speed isn't enough to overcome

Going forward this is more reason I'm excited about the new ILB coach. Bone says the guy is known for communicating complex concepts in simplistic fashion to players.

He was wasted. Kid didnt come here to play RB. Having to learn that position set him back for sure.
