Terrapin's "Oktoberfest" Marzen (pronounced mart-zin) is on Kroger shelves and it is very good.
Traditionally in Bavaria, a marzen is a heavily malted beer brewed in the Spring (March=Marzen) and allowed to age (lager) over the summer to finally be consumed in the Fall. It is the traditional "oktoberfest" beer.
Grab a six pack of Terrapin's Oktoberfest at your local Kroger this weekend and pretend you live in a simpler time and place without an authoritarian shadow government apparatus destroying western civilization in plain view. Think of the rolling hills, the alps in the distance, the wild flowers and edelweiss that makes a believer out of you, the soft breeze of ending summer and the hard wind of global dictatorship marching upon you, and past you.
Vanderbilt and Hawaii will be televised, I suspect. But I haven't really looked it up, I just assume it will be. But who has time to stay up past midnight to watch that game in the Asian hemisphere. Better to rest, slumber, schlaffen, for the animals need feeding in the morning and the wolves are always near.

Except for that whole Nazi thing…

Imagine yourself in The Ukrainah, in the shade of hill after a long Autumn day tilling the sunflower field, and sipping on a cold Marzen while resting your weary bones. The rolling landscape dotted with other peasants about their business and associated hobbitry. Peace, relaxation. The neo-nazi militia in the West is close enough to hear their artillery, but mother russia will keep your village safe. Throw a stick to the dog. Wave at a neighbor. Sip the Marzen and enjoy the malt-forward satisfaction of a well aged lager made from the ingredients of nature and perfected by the graceful passage of time. All will be fine in God's country.

The McSnoot ale wave crested about a half a decade ago dude. And the shite monster died in his sleep relaxing on a turd pile too long while nobody noticed. Apparently you didn’t get the memo
The funny part is, is that the exact same refrigeration space in the grocery store beer aisle that mcsnoots occupied for 5 minutes …(the sections with the tie dyed colored weed themed $12 dollar six packs full of owl piss drained through a pine cone ) yeah. That same space in the aisle is full of 500 different brands and flavors of white claw now
Talk about poetry . That’s the universe writing poetry right there

Bavaria was spared from most of the war, but still took some lumps. Yet, it is pristine. They have a lot more pride than we do. When you go over there, you can totally see how they almost kicked the worlds arse twice. In the next war, we want them on our side. Sure, they are into peeing and pooping on each other during sex acts….. yet their homes, yards, roads, and businesses are pristine. They also have great food and beer and the women feel obligated to perform oral sex on you well into their middle aged years.

I’d be happy to goose step through the plaza for this alone.

They’re also brilliant engineers and scientists. Which is why the U.S. government scooped up thousands of Nazi engineer war criminals and brought them here with full immunity to work for our weapons and space programs.
That’s right. America thumps it’s chest and brags about being first to put a man on the moon (supposedly), but the real architects of those adventures were actual captured Nazis working for us.

They all were not Nazi, but Van Braun was… they still name buildings after him in Huntsville

It's still too hot for Octoberfest stuff. Come back to me in 8 weeks.
I'm still working on my favorite summer concoction:
70% Bearded Iris Homestyle
30% Stiegl Radler grapefruit

Octoberfest is in September. It’s confusing I know, but remember they like to pee and poop on each other during sex acts, so this should be expected.

Dammit! Corso is in rough shape. He can barely even get the words out today. Very uncomfortable.
Hopefully he’s just having a bad day. Otherwise, we’re very near the end of his time on the show, i would believe

I didn't know that. But it's still too hot for that kind of beer. I need a chill in the air - a hoodie, wool socks, some mittens, etc.

I'll take your word for it. I've never sexed a German before.

Well, he sounded like normal in the final pick segment thankfully. Maybe was just knocking some rust off earlier. He looks exactly like President Brandon now though with the lights slowly fading out.. Thats all i could think about
Can we make this the Week Zero thread?
Nebraska and NWern in 25 minutes. Aka time to get rich as shite

Trying this nazi beer at my Marxist inlaws house right now.
Saaz (pronounced sahtz) hop forward pilsner. Not bad.

Pollack was the only one to have UGA in the playoffs
Posted on 8/27/22 at 12:28 pm to SCDawg95
Both Corso and Herbstreet picked Dawgs to make playoff.
Pollack hedged and said he could see Georgia win SEC against Bama and then lose in natl championship, but his official picks had no Georgia in playoff.
