re: What is it like being an Alabama fan?

I grew up in the Bryant era and totally took it for granted. After a series of bad coaches and mediocre teams I wasn't sure we'd ever win a natty again until Stallings did it in 92, then another long stretch in the wilderness until Saban. Now I enjoy and appreciate every win. The other thing is that since he arrived I don't get apoplectic after a loss, even in a championship game, because I'm confident we'll be back in the picture the next year.
