now allow me to contradict my own thread, hopefully thankfully...

BYU butters it's bread on kids who are decent high school football players, who then do 2 year Mormon missions before becoming BYU players. So they're 20 years old as true freshmen and often 24 years old or older as seniors. Also basically none of them go pro early, if at all.

So yes, they're more experienced and mature emotionally, age-wise, etc, but they're not SEC level talented players.

BYU is a frustrating team because you would think that any SEC team would beat them without having some difficulty. But they have lost and beaten some SEC teams.

They would get destroyed by the talent of Bama, Georgia or LSU. But Arkansas doesn't have that talent yet to completely overwhelm them not yet at the moment. I don't like this game because folks keeping looking at the bowl loss that BYU had and proclaim them as not very good. That was a unmotivated BYU team and you aren't going to get that same motivation against Arkansas. I don't like this game and have it as a loss.

Yes but we have Dorian Gerald who is 37 years old. Most experienced player in all of cfb.
