UGA was up 24-7 with 22 minutes left in the game. UGA went into "victory formation" offensively at that point. Oddly so did UK (probably because they didn't want the score to get any worse). UGA ran 2 more drives in that 22 minutes stretch (scored a TD on one). They had 3 total pass attempts in the final 22 minutes... compared to 17 in the first 38.




The most interesting stat comparing the two games Time of Possession.

UT TOP vs UK 13:52. UT scored 45 points in less than 14 minutes of possession. That equates to just over 3 points per minute of offense.

UGA TOP vs UK 22:13. UGA scored 30 points in just over 22 minutes. That equates to right around 1.3 points per minute of offense.
