I think what hooker provides in the run game is huge.
The knock on hooker that he is a system qb is huge as well. His numbers in that system are actually fairly pedestrian compared to heupel's other QBs.
There are arguments both ways.
But comparing season stats and ignoring what Bennett and UGA could do when trying to build a lead (UGA # 2 in conference for passing TDs and #3 in conference for passing yards in the first half) is a simpleton mistake.
