I love these takes from LSU fans. The irony just drips off the screen.

I know it's a complex concept, but it is actually possible to be critical of one school and not be supportive of another.

They lost to Pitt last year.

And Pitt lost their All-American QB and WR. Pretty significant IMO

Hooker did not start that game. He came in when UT was down 24-6 I believe. He brought UT with in 1 score. If Hooker starts that game UT wins. Hooker threw for almost 3000 yards and 31TD’s last year in 9 starts. If I’m not wrong Hooker had the best efficiency, best TD to INT ratio, and had 2nd best completion rate in the SEC. They return 5 OL form last year, along with top 2 running backs and their top WR in Tillman. Tillman is the only receiver in the SEC returning that had 1000+ yards last year. Defense will be improved as UT improved depth over the off Season and return the top tackler at LB in Banks. Defensive side also returns Young and Barron on the DL. UT has enough pieces in place right now to be really good this year.

Then why isn't Tennessee ranked right now? Also, Pittsburgh is ranked at 17. How can that be? I guess experts know something about Pittsburgh even though they lost their top receiver and quarterback. Something is telling me that Pittsburgh will be fine.

There's a spreadsheet that shows how AP voters voted. But to put it simply, the homers of the world left us out. The ones that cover bigger media areas ranked us and more than a few ranked us fairly well. But getting left out by a few people covering upper Idaho is like getting a 0 on a test.

While I like that it's usually the Florida game that brings them down to earth there was little funnier than 2016 when they beat us, then Georgia to hit top 10 ...

only to lose three straight and end the regular season getting thumped by Vandy.

I'm going to be charitable and assume that "bafoon" is an intentional portmanteau of "baboon" and "buffoon" and not that you're a buffoon who doesn't know how to spell "buffoon."

Bama gettin’ all edumacational and shite.

The tenners have ZERO chance of leaving baton rogue with a W against LSU this year.

Amazing how EVERY YEAR tenner fans claim "this is the year", only to be completely gutted by mid season after getting their arse whooped by UF, BAMMER AND THE DaWGs...

Keep dreaming tenner...

8-4 most likely

Losses
Bama
LSU
UGA
Split between UK/UF

Solid chance of 9-3 with both UK/UF at home.

This isn't the year...but UT will beat LSU in Baton Rouge and will finish 7-5 or 8-4.
