Talk is cheap and they do reside in the show me state. It’s been a lot more jawing and less action for our liking.

Setting your sights high is a good thing. I also think he was politely saying that everyone, not just the coaches and the team, need to adopt that attitude if we are going to achieve a conference championship for the first time in 50 years.

Baylor won a national championship in basketball. They could make the CFP this year. If they can do it, why not us? Frick, Wisconsin hasn’t missed a bowl in 21 years.
Mizzou needs alot of changes in the athletic department if we want to be champions. Drink’s recruiting classes are a start, now it’s his turn to put out results on the field. It’s basketballs turn to build a program and finally win some tournament games. Baseballs turn to make a CWS.
It’s time

Agreed with your point. If Baylor can transform the way they have over the last 15-20 years, win a national championship in BB and a couple conference championships in football, then absolutely we can too.
There is absolutely no reason Mizzou can’t be Iowa or Wisconsin at a minimum, other than having a loser culture in the AD (which hopefully DRF is changing).
